The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Primavera P6 Planner to join our growing international team. In this fully remote role, you will be a key player in our project controls function, responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing complex project schedules for high-value engineering projects.
Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with our Project Managers, engineering teams, and clients to provide critical scheduling insights and drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update detailed, resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6 from inception to completion.
Establish and manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and activity coding in collaboration with project teams.
Perform Critical Path Analysis (CPA) to identify key project drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, analyzing deviations and producing regular performance reports (S-curves, variance analysis, lookaheads).
Conduct schedule health checks and risk analysis to ensure schedule robustness and identify potential delays.
Clearly communicate schedule status, forecasts, and key issues to project managers and stakeholders.
Manage the schedule change control process to ensure all updates are implemented in a controlled and transparent manner.
Provide what-if scenario analysis to support project decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Project Planner or Scheduler in an engineering, construction, or related technical environment.
Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6, including resource and cost loading.
Strong understanding of project management principles, especially WBS development, critical path methodology, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numeracy skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
The ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setting while maintaining strong team collaboration.
Full professional fluency in English.
Desired Skills
Experience with schedule risk analysis software (e.g., Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk).
Experience working on large-scale projects in our key sectors (e.g., Power Generation, Nuclear, Oil & Gas).
Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, or AACE PSP.
Familiarity with other project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject).
